The Crusader Rabbit is the Helias High School, online, student newspaper, written by the members of the Helias Journalism Club. The newspaper was re-established last year, after many years of inactivity. Besides the new look, the student newspaper took on a new name. The new name is the Crusader Rabbit after the 1949 Television Arts Productions and NBC-TV cartoon.
In the early days of Helias, other schools would refer to Helias as Crusader Rabbits during athletic events and throw carrots on the gym floor as a taunt. "Crusader Rabbit" became a nickname the fine students at Helias found endearing. From this we get the title of our school newspaper.
